Anna Edelweiss is a violinist for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Violin for the moments people photograph: walking down the aisle, the couple's entrance, the first drinks after the ceremony. Anna Edelweiss plays weddings, corporate events and private parties around Melbourne, with a repertoire running from classical pieces and film scores to pop, rock, jazz and RnB. Think A Thousand Years or All of Me during the ceremony, then a high energy violin cover arranged especially for the entrance to the reception. Sets are shaped around the running order of the day rather than a fixed program, so the music lands where it matters.
Performance options
Anna covers a wedding moment by moment rather than as one block of time. The aisle walk can be your own chosen song. Then violin over drinks and canapes as guests arrive, or as they find their seats. The couple's entrance gets a high energy arrangement, worked up specially for that moment. Dinner is played softer, as a backdrop. Cake cutting and the toast get their own piece, and the first dance, second slow dance or the father and daughter waltz can each be arranged from the songs you pick. Later in the night there's a party set played live alongside a DJ, violin over the dance tracks to keep people out of their chairs. Take the whole run or just the parts you want.
