About
Suzy Spindoll's Circus Arts is a hula hoop act for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Fourteen years of performing and nine years of school circus incursions sit behind Suzy Spindoll, a clown, juggler and hula hoop specialist who turns schools, festivals and backyards into circus playgrounds. Workshops and play spaces are as much of the offer as the acts themselves, and balloon animals, face painting and circus crafts fill in the gaps. LED roving suits the evening half of a festival, and there are fire shows too. Sydney based, covering private events, parties, kids birthdays, vacation care and team building days. She brings all the workshop equipment. Fully insured, working with children cleared, and current in first aid.
The show
Fourteen years in front of audiences, nine of them running circus incursions in schools. Suzy Spindoll is a clowning, juggling and hula hoop specialist, and what she does to a school hall, a festival lawn or a back garden is turn it into a playground rather than a stage with a crowd watching it. Balloon animals, face painting and circus crafts fill out the day.
On the day
Barely anything to arrange. All the equipment for the workshops and the circus playspaces travels with her, hoops and juggling gear included, so a clear patch of ground or an empty stretch of hall floor is enough to get going. That keeps her easy to book into a school, a festival site or a back garden, where there is rarely anything resembling a stage to work with anyway.
Performance options
The FESTIVAL option pairs roaming entertainment with workshops or playspaces, and LED or fire performing can go on top for the evening. The BIRTHDAY option is a hula hoop or circus playspace plus clowning and performance, with balloon animals and face paint or a glitter bar available as additions. The TEAMS option is a circus or hoop fitness workshop for a work group, finished with a ten minute interactive performance. How long you book her for shapes each one.
