About

Jacinta Rainbow is a hula hoop act for hire in Sydney, NSW.

Fire, LED and hula hoop performance out of Sydney, in three formats: roving through the crowd, fixed on a podium, or a choreographed feature show to a chosen track. The LED hoops can be programmed with custom colours and even your logo. During the day it's silk fans and coloured hoops instead. Fire shows use multiple props and come with fire blankets, towels and an extinguisher. Roving sets typically run 10 to 60 minutes, podium sets 5 to 15, and a choreographed show around 5 minutes. There's also a kids hula hoop space with 20-plus hoops supplied. Public liability insurance, Working With Children check and a First Aid certificate are held.

Watch

The show

It changes completely with the time of day. After dark it's LED hoops, programmed with colours you choose and your logo if you want it there. In daylight the props swap to silk fans and coloured hoops instead. Fire shows use multiple props and come with the safety gear as standard. Jacinta will talk through what you're picturing beforehand rather than turning up with a fixed routine, so the performance fits the event instead of sitting awkwardly inside it.

On the day

Depends what you book. Roving, LED or daytime, needs almost nothing, since she works in and among your guests, indoors or out. A podium or stage set wants a clear three by three metre area, plus power if music is going through a system. Fire needs four by four metres, well clear of overhanging trees, awnings and decorations, and outdoors or somewhere properly ventilated. She supplies the fire safety gear herself. Kids hoop sessions want a flat open area of five by five, hoops included. Do say what time you want her on.

Performance options

Fire, LED or daytime, and then a choice of format on top of that. Roving means working through the space and playing off your guests, usually somewhere between 10 and 60 minutes. Podium sets are freestyle from a fixed spot, up on a podium or inside a marked out area, and run shorter at 5 to 15 minutes. A choreographed feature show is built to a track you pick, or one she suggests and you both agree on, around 5 minutes and up to 15. Meet and greet covers arrivals, 20 to 60 minutes. And the kids hoop space is an open area with 20-plus hoops out for children to play with, 30 to 90 minutes with her running it.
