About
Jason is an event services business for hire in Perth, WA.
Six to twelve items is a normal night's work. Jason's record is 94. A Perth auctioneer who folds into the running of an event rather than taking it over, working the room in a relaxed, calm way that still lands top dollar for the items on offer. Getting the bidding started is a craft in itself, and so is handling the heckler who's three drinks in; both are covered. Jason prefers a lapel mic and can bring one to plug into your sound system, or will happily coordinate with your DJ or MC before the night. Well suited to fundraisers and charity auctions of almost any size.
The show
When the auction starts, he's on. Calm and relaxed in manner, but the aim is bringing top dollar in for your items, and the enthusiasm arrives with it. Getting the bidding moving in the first place takes a few different tricks and he uses all of them. And the bloke down the front who's had a few and wants to be part of the show gets handled without any drama.
On the day
A lapel mic is his preference, and he can bring his own to plug into your mixing board. Let him know what gear you've got, or put him in touch with whoever's running the DJ or MC duties for the night, and he'll sort it out with them directly.
Performance options
A few items or a lot, the booking works the same way. Past about 25 items it's worth a conversation, mainly so you know how late the night is going to run.
