About
The Corporate Impostor is a business speaker for hire in Gold Coast, QLD.
Homer Papantonio creates comic speakers for The Corporate Impostor, adopting invented identities and accents around the event's subject. Research and rehearsal help shape each presentation to the organisers' brief. His characters have appeared at conferences and company events, turning an apparently serious guest appearance into comedy. The Queensland performer offers presentations for conferences, retreats, roadshows and product launches, with the material developed for each audience.
Watch
On the day
A normal conference room plus the usual AV. Lectern and microphone, a cordless handheld, a clicker, a projector with a screen scaled to your audience: 8ft by 6ft up to 100 people, 12ft by 9ft above that, and two 16ft by 12ft screens once you pass 400. Sound to match the room, with a mixing console over 50 people. Dim the house lights, keep a stage wash on, and the slides stay readable. An AV operator on hand is the sensible call. At a dinner event, put the dance floor beside the stage rather than in front of the lectern.
Performance options
There's a two-part option that only works if you've got a full day and an evening. Homer delivers the daytime keynote as somebody the audience does not expect, then the reveal comes at the conference dinner that night. It's the version people talk about afterwards, because the room spends the whole afternoon not knowing. Otherwise each presentation is researched and rehearsed against the outcomes you brief in, so conferences, retreats, roadshows and product launches all get shaped differently.
