The show
James doesn't perform composure. He talks about the physical and mental health years he came through, and what they cost him as a bloke, a husband and a father, and some of what he says is blunt enough to sit uncomfortably in the room for a second. Then he gets a laugh out of it. He's a storyteller by instinct, so the leadership material arrives inside the story rather than on a slide, and the session gets shaped around who you've got in the audience and what you actually need them to walk out understanding.
On the day
Not much. He can present in most rooms and project his voice if it comes to that, though sound equipment or a microphone is what he'd prefer. If you want him working from slides, you'll need a data projection system set up. Worth deciding that in advance, since the talk works either way and he'll build it to suit whichever you choose.
Performance options
Keynotes and conference sessions are the core of it. Workshops run from one day out to five, retreats from one to three. He also does remote presentations, corporate functions, and team building and culture workshops where the group does the work rather than watching him do it. Coaching and mentoring can run on afterwards. Speaking engagements are booked as a day rather than by the hour. If you're planning several events, or something across multiple days, he'll put a proposal together covering the lot.
