About
Townsville Futures Music is a singer-songwriter for hire in Townsville, QLD.
Folk, psychobilly and deep funk, played by a group who take their lyrics from Shakespeare and their energy from punk. Townsville Futures Music came out of the underground and the shows are genuinely unpredictable, swinging between an intimate acoustic set and something much louder. It's clever and it's mad, often in the same song. Based in Townsville, Queensland. Not background music, and not trying to be.
