About
Nye Stewart is a singer-songwriter for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Folk, rock, blues and country, all in the one set. Nye Stewart has released two studio albums and a string of live EPs, toured Australia and overseas, and shared stages with some of the country's best-known acts. Expect material drawn from Paul Kelly, Eric Clapton, JJ Cale, Bruce Springsteen, Colin Hay and Keb' Mo', pitched so most rooms and audiences can enjoy it. He performs around Brisbane solo, as a duo or trio, or with a full band, and brings all the gear; reliable power is the only thing he asks of a venue.
Watch
The show
Folk, rock, blues and country in the one set, and none of it hard work to listen to. It's the kind of music that suits a mixed room, where the crowd spans a few generations and nobody wants the volume fighting the conversation. Most venues and most audiences find something in it.
On the day
All the gear comes with him, whatever size the room is, so there's no PA to hire and nothing for the venue to dig out of a cupboard. The only thing he asks for is reliable power. Everything else, from the sound system to the leads, turns up in the car.
Performance options
Solo, duo, trio, or the whole band so the same songs can suit a small bar or a proper stage. PA equipment and lighting hire are available as well if your venue has neither.
