Lucy Crane

Lucy Crane grew up in Quirindi in country New South Wales and now lives on the Gold Coast, and you can hear both places in the songs. Her father was a musician, which is where it started. The writing is soft-edged acoustic, guitar and lyric doing most of the work, and she plays her own material alongside covers of songs people know, reshaped enough to sound like hers. Suits ceremonies, cafes and any room where the music is meant to sit under the conversation rather than over it.
