About

Jack Raymond is a singer-songwriter for hire in Noosa Heads, QLD.

A few years of private events behind him, and Jack Raymond still sounds like he's enjoying it. Book him on his own, or as a duo, with covers running from the 50s through to now, plus more than two hours of his own material from touring around the country. Ben Howard, CCR, Bill Withers, the Rolling Stones: it moves depending on the room. Birthdays, weddings, wakes, whatever the day calls for, background or dance floor. He's based in Noosa and travels. Sound is an HK Polar 12 line array, or an HK Move8 running on battery for outdoor ceremonies, so one power outlet and somewhere out of the sun is all he asks for. Public liability insurance is in place.

The show

Jack Raymond will play a birthday, a wedding or a wake, and he means it about the wake. The job changes shape depending on the day. Sometimes it's background, sometimes it's get up and move, and he reads which one the room wants rather than deciding beforehand. Covers stretch from the 50s to now, Ben Howard through CCR and Bill Withers to the Rolling Stones, and there's over two hours of his own material from touring around the country if you'd rather hear that. Solo or as a duo. He's based in Noosa and travels.

On the day

Sound is an HK Polar 12 line array, which has plenty in reserve for a decent-sized room. For outdoor ceremonies he swaps to an HK Move8 running on battery, so no lead has to reach the spot where you're standing. What he asks for is one power point and a bit of shade or cover over the gear. Not much else. Public liability insurance is in place.
