About
Haley Holgate is a singer-songwriter for hire.
Listening to Haley Holgate feels like reading a diary you weren't meant to find. The Sydney songwriter's work is confessional and direct, and her newer material shifts from sitting inside a feeling to pulling it apart and deciding what stays. The lyricism is clean-cut, the vocals land where it hurts, and the earlier quiet warmth is starting to turn into something more pointed. She's supported Mia Wray, Odette, Ben Lee and Boy & Bear, showcased at SXSW Sydney, and picked up support across triple j and triple j Unearthed.
