About
Art Cooper is a singer-songwriter for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Two years in shearing sheds across western Queensland, days on the stands and nights playing outback pubs, and all of it now sits in the songs. Art Cooper came back with the characters, the landscapes and the tough humour of that country running through his writing. Brisbane based, and gathering attention on the live circuit. An unmistakably Australian sound, told from somewhere most songwriters have not been.
