About
Velveteen is a musical duo for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
A covers duo built around female lead vocals, guitar and male backing harmonies. Velveteen play funky R&B, pop rock, ballads and jazz standards, drawing from the 70s right through to whatever charted last month. The venue list tells you how much work they've put in around Brisbane and beyond: Emporium Hotel, Jade Buddha, Sofitel, Stamford Plaza, Sirromet Winery, the Eagle Farm Races, Paddo Tavern, Hamilton Hotel and Sails at Noosa, among plenty of others. They suit weddings, cocktail parties, corporate events and regular venue bookings, and they'll cover a private function just as happily.
