About
Amazon Blue is a musical duo for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Amazon Blue built their book around music that mostly got left behind: Steely Dan, Al Jarreau, Michael Franks, Patti Austin, Grover Washington, Chaka Khan, Renee Geyer. Add smooth jazz from the 40s and 50s, then some contemporary groove for the younger end of the table, and you've got a dinner that doesn't repeat what every other function band plays. The core is vocals, percussion, saxophone and keyboards, and they can grow to a trio, four piece or six piece for conferences and larger functions. In Tokyo in 2003 they were asked to perform with Diana King and her band. Brisbane based, and best suited to rooms where people are actually listening.

The host said the event went well and Amazon Blue were good. AB touched base with both my manager and I on the evening which I though was really good. Thanks again for all your assistance in arranging.

The band was amazing!! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed them and they were a breeze to work with!! If Amazon Blue had the opportunity to play frequently from Thur- Sat here at Motion Bar & Grill what kind of discount could you provide?
