About
Takes Two is a musical duo for hire in Toowoomba, QLD.
Two voices that blend properly, which is harder to find than it sounds. Takes Two are a Toowoomba covers duo, both members with years in bands before they joined forces. The repertoire runs 60s to now across rock and pop, with Fleetwood Mac, ABBA, Creedence, The Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Robert Palmer and Patti LaBelle sitting next to Teddy Swims, Chris Stapleton and Ed Sheeran. Send them a list of songs you'd like and they'll do their best to work them in. Birthdays, weddings, or any night that needs live music. All they need is a power point.
The show
The repertoire stretches from the 1960s through to songs still on the radio, which gives them room to move whichever way a crowd leans. Rock, pop, ballads, singalongs. Plenty of people send through a list of songs they'd love to hear on the night, and the duo will work through it and fit in what they can. So if there's a first dance or a family favourite in mind, say so early.
