Oberon Lane is a musical duo for hire in Hobart, TAS.
Acoustic sets first, DJ after. That combination is what Oberon Lane are known for, and it solves the awkward gap most weddings hit when the band packs up and someone's phone takes over. You can book them as a solo, a duo, a trio with DJ, or the full wedding package. The song list leans soul and modern pop: Adele, Alicia Keys, Amy Winehouse, Al Green, Ben Harper, Angus and Julia Stone, Avicii, Ball Park Music. Duo plus DJ is the most common booking. They handle full audio production themselves in most rooms, and they take hundreds of bookings a year around the country. Hobart based.

The show
Live acoustic sets first, then a DJ. That order is what they're known for and it fixes the awkward bit of the night where the band packs up and the room goes flat. Their material leans soul and modern pop, Adele, Alicia Keys, Amy Winehouse, Al Green, Ben Harper, Angus and Julia Stone, Avicii, Ball Park Music. They work hundreds of events a year around the country, which means very little on the night will be new to them.
On the day
For most rooms the full audio production comes from the act itself, so you're not organising speakers, a desk or an engineer separately. Worth confirming when you enquire if your venue is unusually large or has its own in-house system they'd rather you used.
Performance options
Solo, duo, trio with DJ, or the whole wedding package covering the day end to end. The duo plus DJ is what gets booked most often, and it's easy to see why, since it gives you live music through the early hours and a proper dance floor after. Choose the size to suit the room and the length of the night.
