About
McIntosh & Co is a musical duo for hire in Cairns, QLD.
An acoustic duo covering Far North Queensland, playing well known songs in a style that sits nicely under a canape hour and lifts when the night wants lifting. McIntosh & Co take on weddings, corporate functions, private parties and venue gigs, and the same act covers ceremony music, background sets and full evening entertainment. Their setup is compact and works in most rooms, including tighter wedding spaces. Country, rock and Aussie pub classics all get a look. Give them a flat, safe spot to play, power if you have it, parking nearby and enough time to set up and pack down. If you're outdoors, cover for the gear in case the weather turns.
Watch
The show
Well known songs played acoustically, pitched to sit under conversation or lift when the night wants lifting. McIntosh & Co work weddings, private parties, corporate functions and venues right across Far North Queensland, and the same pair can cover the quiet part of the evening and the louder one. They keep the whole thing easy from the first message through to pack down, which is worth something when you've got a hundred other details to manage.
On the day
A flat, safe area to play in, with power if the venue has it. Their setup is compact and slots into most rooms, including the tighter wedding spaces where a bigger act wouldn't fit. Outdoors they'll need cover in case the weather turns. Parking nearby and enough access time to set up and pack down properly rounds out the list.
Performance options
Bookings are built around what your day looks like. Ceremony music, the canape hour, background sets through dinner, evening sets, or the whole event covered end to end. Location and how long you need them playing both feed into it. Tell them the shape of the day and they'll put something together.
