About
Little Light is a musical duo for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Cryss and Lucy are Little Light Duo, and they'll tell you the style is whatever your day needs. Chilled and low key through the afternoon, upbeat and poppy once people have had a drink. They work weddings, private functions, parties and venue nights, and they've built the set wide enough to move between blues, folk, classic rock, R&B and current pop without stopping to change gear. Expect them on time and set up early. All equipment is supplied, so all they need from you is power. Song requests for weddings are welcome. Brisbane based.
The show
Cryss and Lucy turn up early and set up before anyone's watching, which is dull to write about and enormously useful on the day. The playing itself is where the work shows. Little Light Duo have put the hours into their catalogue and it's wide enough to slide from blues into folk into a current pop song without a break to swap gear around. Afternoon sits chilled. Evening lifts once people have a drink in hand. If it's a wedding, send through the songs that matter to you.
On the day
Power, and that's genuinely the whole list. Little Light Duo bring every bit of equipment they perform with, so nothing needs hiring in and nobody needs to chase a PA. Just make sure there's a working outlet within reach of wherever you want them standing.
