About
FÉLIX REY is a musical duo for hire in Gold Coast, QLD.
Country blues as a duo, with R.L. Burnside and Lightnin' Hopkins as the touchstones. Félix Rey play the raw, hypnotic end of the tradition rather than the polished version of it, and those two names tell you a lot about what to expect. Gold Coast based. Booking a duo that takes this music seriously means the covers sound like the real thing rather than a cleaned up approximation.
