About
Cath & Him is a musical duo for hire in Gold Coast, QLD.
Fully live and acoustic, backing tracks for a full band sound, or a mix of both across the night: Cath & Him let you pick the format. The Gold Coast duo play over 100 shows a year, so there's not much they haven't seen, and the repertoire tops 400 songs. They'll read the booking and pitch the mood to match, laid back through dinner or upbeat once the dance floor opens. Requirements are about as simple as it gets: somewhere to stand, a power socket, and shade if you've put them outside. Bookings run from two to four hours, and public liability insurance is covered.
Watch
The show
Over 100 shows a year means Cath & Him have seen most of what a function can throw at them, and they adapt without being asked twice. The main skill is mood. They work out whether the night is meant to be laid back or upbeat, and they play to that instead of running the same show everywhere. It has made them one of the busier acts on the Gold Coast.
On the day
About as simple a list as you'll get from a live act. Somewhere to perform, and a power socket. If you've put them outside, shade over the performance area is the one thing worth organising ahead of time, since gear and direct Queensland sun don't get along. Everything else the duo needs comes with them.
