About
Able2Rock is a musical duo for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Over 500 songs, ABBA to ZZ Top. Able2Rock is a Brisbane duo covering the 60s through to the 2000s and beyond, with a set that bends to almost any venue or function, from morning melodies to festival stages. They like getting the audience involved, and they're not above a costume change mid-show; a dressing room is appreciated when the outfits come along. Give them a four-by-two-metre space and a couple of power points and they're set. Fully insured, too.
The show
A duo who work the crowd rather than perform at it. Audience interaction is the whole approach, so expect people singing back, joining in and generally being part of the night instead of watching politely from the tables. Over 500 songs sit behind it, ABBA through to ZZ Top, covering the 60s to the 2000s and beyond, which means the set can suit a morning function just as easily as a late night. Costume changes turn up mid-show when the occasion calls for them.
On the day
A stage area of about four metres by two, and at least two power points. Where costume changes are part of the show, a dressing room is preferred, even a back office or a storeroom that locks. Not essential, but it makes the changes quicker and the transitions cleaner on the night.
Song list
All genres of songs from ABBA to ZZ Top, AC/DC to Tom Jones, Pink to George Strait.
