3's A Crowd is a musical duo for hire in Cairns, QLD.
Requests are half the fun for this Cairns pair. Their acoustic songbook already runs deep, taking in Ed Sheeran, Adele, Alanis Morissette, Angus and Julia Stone, Bernard Fanning and Australian Crawl, and they're happy to learn something new for your event, a wedding first dance included. The act flexes from a soloist up to a trio depending on the occasion, with guitars and vocals at the core and flute and saxophone on the services list. Weddings, private parties, corporate events and Christmas functions around Cairns are all home territory, and they keep in touch in the lead-up so the day runs the way you planned it.
Watch
The show
You'll hear from them well before the day. Communication in the lead-up is a big part of how they work, so what gets played and when is agreed rather than assumed. The set itself gets built to your requirements instead of pulled off a shelf, and they turn up and behave like professionals, which sounds like a low bar until you've booked someone who doesn't.
On the day
Space depends on which version you book and what kind of event you're running. A soloist in a corner needs very little. A trio with a bit of gear needs a bit more. Tell them the venue and the format you're after and they'll tell you what they need.
Performance options
Weddings, private parties, corporate events and Christmas functions are the four things they do most. Pick the format that suits the occasion and they'll build around it.
