About
Tony C Norment is a motivational speaker for hire in Perth, WA.
Two decades in theatre, live events and cultural programming across Australia and the United States sit behind Tony C Norment's speaking work. He's a writer, educator and performer as well, and the talks carry that: part presentation, part discussion, sometimes a workshop, always more conversation than lecture. Topics include mental toughness, personal identity, attitude and imagination, community and cohesion, lifelong healthy habits, and the dynamics of race and identity. He describes the sessions as accessible and non-confrontational, which matters when the subject could easily go the other way. Perth-based. No setup needed for a straight talk, just a whiteboard if you want the workshop version. Public liability and professional indemnity cover are in place.
The show
Tony builds the session as part presentation, part discussion, with question and answer time and a workshop option if you want people doing the thinking out loud. The point is to knock your audience's assumptions sideways for an hour, walking them through perspectives that aren't their own, so familiar problems look different by the end of it. It moves rather than drones.
On the day
For a straight talk, Tony asks for nothing at all. No gear, no screen, no set up time to build into your schedule, which makes him easy to slot into a program that is already tight. If you would rather run the workshop version, the one thing to organise is a whiteboard in the room, since that format has people working through ideas together and he needs somewhere to capture them.
