About
The Connection Guy is a motivational speaker for hire in Burleigh Heads, QLD.
Kyal Neil Currant speaks about connection, and he means it fairly literally. His work is trauma-informed, drawing on disability, grief and his own long stretch of personal rebuilding to talk about fear, purpose and communicating honestly. He is a coach and facilitator as well as a speaker, so the sessions lean towards being in the room with people rather than presenting at them. Expect laughs and depth in the same hour. Based at Burleigh Heads and a good fit for schools, community events and organisations doing genuine work on wellbeing, mental health and resilience. Also listed for MC work.
The show
Kyal works in the room rather than at it. Sessions move between honest talk about fear, purpose and rebuilding a life, and practical work on breathing and settling the nervous system, so people are feeling something rather than taking notes. He is trauma aware and holds the space carefully, which matters when the conversation goes somewhere real. Expect humour alongside the depth. Disability, inclusion and self worth run through the material, and it lands as a keynote, a workshop or a youth program depending on what your group needs.
