About
Eric Bailey is a motivational speaker for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Most motivational speakers used to run something. Eric Bailey still does. He leads the NLR Group, a company of more than 100 employees, and brings that current, working leadership experience to the stage rather than stories from a former life. His own former life was professional basketball, and the intensity carries over: his Championship DNA framework is about staying decisive under pressure and moving an audience from listening to doing. He's spoken across 13 countries and offers keynotes, workshops and team building sessions shaped to group size and format, with online delivery an option. He travels from Brisbane and holds a Queensland Blue Card.

The show
Eric doesn't deliver a talk so much as change the temperature of the room. He came out of professional basketball, where he held a record-breaking 49.3 scoring average, and that standard is the thing he keeps coming back to on stage. Expect high energy and high conviction, aimed at getting people to actually do something rather than nod along. The other difference is that he's still running a business right now, the NLR Group, with over 100 employees, so when he talks about leadership and accountability it's coming from this week, not from a decade ago. He works the room directly, breaks the fourth wall and talks to people. Nothing is off a script; each presentation is put together around the specific culture or performance problem you're trying to fix, with Championship DNA, moving past good enough to a standard you don't negotiate on, at the centre of it.
On the day
A headset or lapel microphone is what he needs. If you want slides or video, have the facility for PowerPoint and clips available, though that part's optional.
Performance options
Keynotes, workshops and team building sessions are all on offer, and each can be tailored around the size of your group and what you want people walking out with. Online delivery through video platforms is a big part of his work now too. Every booking comes with five extras: a pre-event consultation with you and your stakeholders to work out the goals and audience, customised handouts, worksheets or templates for attendees to take away, a follow-up coaching session or group call afterwards so the ideas don't evaporate, and a Q&A session after he speaks. He travels out of Brisbane Airport, so airfare, accommodation and a car pickup need to be arranged.
