About
Dave Baker is a motivational speaker for hire in Perth, WA.
Leadership, sales and business growth for corporate audiences, and career direction for student groups. Dave Baker builds the talk around personal stories rather than slides full of theory, which is what makes it work in front of a room of teenagers as well as a room of managers. He hosts the Beers and Bikes Show podcast and is the voice of action sports in Western Australia, so the commentary background shows in the delivery. He also takes MC work at weddings and functions. Needs a lectern, audio and a projector. Insured. Based in Perth.
The show
Dave writes to the brief rather than repeating a set talk. Tell him what the audience is and what you want them thinking about afterwards, and the material gets shaped around that. The delivery is warm and direct, closer to a bloke telling you something over a beer than a presenter working a script. That is what lets the same speaker hold a room of senior managers and a hall full of students without changing register too far in either direction.
