About
Amy Downie is a motivational speaker for hire in Eltham, VIC.
Saving endangered plants sometimes means hanging off a cliff to reach them. Amy Downie is a horticulturist and conservationist who learned to climb and abseil to work with threatened cliff-dwelling species, then turned that experience into talks about facing fear head on and finding new ways through hard problems. Based in Eltham in Melbourne's north east, Amy presents as a keynote, motivational and innovation speaker, in person or virtually. The stories come from real fieldwork, not theory. And the message about grit lands harder because the risk was genuine.
