About
Paul Botfield is an MC for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Radio is the day job. Paul Botfield has spent five years hosting and DJing on air as well as reporting traffic, and works as a voice actor doing company sponsorship reads at a national level. That microphone experience carries straight into event hosting, and he's fronted fashion parades, charity events, speed dating and karaoke nights. Brisbane based. He'll shape the hosting around what your event actually needs rather than running a standard patter. Worth noting you or your venue will need to supply the microphone and speakers.
The show
Paul Botfield builds the hosting around your event rather than arriving with a set routine. Five years on radio hosting, DJing and reading traffic, plus voice work on national sponsorship reads, means the microphone side is second nature. He has fronted fashion parades, charity nights, speed dating and karaoke, so he is comfortable steering a room whichever direction the run sheet points.
On the day
Microphone and speakers come from your side of the arrangement. Either you supply them or the venue does, so it is worth ringing whoever runs the room and finding out what is already sitting in the cupboard there before the day arrives.
