About
Danica Jenner is an MC for hire in Waterford West, QLD.
The show
Danica works from your run sheet, so send it through once the day's shape is settled and she'll build her hosting around it. If you already know what you want said, hand her a script and she'll work to it. If you don't, she'll write one and send it back for you to read over and change before the day. She asks questions early, sometimes more than you expect, because the details are what stop an MC sounding like they've just been handed a page. Nothing gets ad-libbed that shouldn't be.
On the day
She needs a microphone and a sound system at the venue. Test both a few days out rather than on the morning, because a dead microphone found at 4pm is a different problem to one found on the Tuesday. Danica arrives early to run a soundcheck and go back over the script with you for any last changes. Handheld or lapel both work. If your venue's system is unfamiliar to you, get someone who knows it to be around for that soundcheck.
