About
JK is an MC for hire in Gold Coast, QLD.
Justin Karcher MCs club and charity fundraising nights on the Gold Coast, and he does more than hold the microphone. There's a game he plays with the audience early in the night that lifts the room and the tally at the same time. He donates seven to ten prizes, which does the raffle no harm at all, and a signed Sir Vivian Richards cricket bat goes into the mix. Beyond the fundraising, he's a comedian, auctioneer, after-dinner speaker and rugby league speaker. Organisers say the same thing: he keeps the event moving, handles the stakeholders and puts humour where it's needed. All he asks for is a good mic and PA.

The show
A fundraising night with JK follows a shape. Inside the first ten minutes he runs a game with the whole room, one built for crowds of 120 or more. From there it's table bingo, a raffle stocked with the prizes he brings along, and the auction, with the signed Sir Vivian Richards cricket bat among the lots. Between all of that he's the MC, so the formal parts of the evening get done without the room going flat.
