About
Georgina is an MC for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Georgina hosts corporate functions, regional events, industry panels and not for profit galas out of Brisbane. Regional upbringing, city polish, and enough humour to keep a room warm without derailing the run sheet. Before the day she works with organisers on tone, timing and speaker introductions, so the transitions land where they should. On the night she reads the room and shifts register to match it, formal for a board audience, relaxed for a community function. Punctual, calm when something slips, and comfortable resetting the energy after a long speech. All she needs is a microphone. Public liability insurance is in place.
The show
Georgina does the groundwork before the day, sitting down with organisers over run sheets and speaker introductions so she understands the tone and the audience she's walking into. On the night the handovers between speakers land cleanly, the timings hold, and the room gets picked back up when a long segment has flattened it. She reads what's in front of her and moves accordingly, buttoned up for a corporate audience, looser for a community crowd. Warm and quick witted with it, so people settle rather than sit stiffly. If something slips she stays calm and keeps the thing moving.
