About
Arthur Washington is a guitarist for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Arthur Washington plays jazz guitar with the sort of touch that takes years to develop. He's trained in both classic and contemporary approaches, and the improvisation is the part other musicians notice, which is usually the surest sign of the real thing. The repertoire runs from vintage standards to his own compositions. He works solo, in small combos or with a full ensemble, so the booking scales to the room. Sydney based. Sophisticated without being difficult to listen to.
