About
Gary Goosefeather is a guitarist for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Solo acoustic guitar and light percussion, mellow throughout, about an hour and a half of it. Gary Goosefeather plays pieces people recognise straight away: Waltzing Matilda, Kookaburra, Imagine, Yesterday, Time After Time, True Colors, Over The Rainbow, Tenterfield Saddler, I Still Call Australia Home, Road To Gundagai, Angels, Top Of The World and Wild Mountain Thyme, plus his own King Of Love. A small stage is all he needs. Sydney based.
The show
Around ninety minutes of solo acoustic guitar, played with a light touch and some soft percussion underneath it. The pieces are crafted rather than strummed through, and the mood stays mellow from start to finish, which makes it music you can talk over without it disappearing entirely. Good for the parts of a day where you want atmosphere rather than a floor show.
