Darwin and Alice Springs are the Territory's two centres and they're roughly as far apart as Adelaide and Sydney, so an act from one is an interstate-style booking for the other. Darwin's event season is the dry, May through October, when the humidity drops and everything moves outdoors; in the wet the local acts are still working, but fewer interstate ones make the trip.
