The best singers in Geelong
A solo singer is the booking that fits the rooms this region actually has. Winery lawns out towards Drysdale, a hall in Torquay, somebody's back paddock past Moriac, a restaurant on the waterfront with twelve tables and no stage. One person with a guitar and a small speaker goes into all of those, which a five piece does not.
The list here is not long, and none of the performers carries a visible review. So watch the footage, ask the questions further down this page, and send the same brief to several of them on one afternoon rather than waiting for replies in order.

Questions people ask about singers in Geelong
How much does a singer cost in Geelong?
Time on site leads, the drive follows, and then there is whatever gear the room cannot provide for itself. A good share of these performers list no figure whatsoever, so the enquiry is where the answer comes from, not this page. Draft one message carrying your date, the venue and an approximate headcount, send it out widely, and lay the replies next to each other.
Will a Melbourne singer come down to Geelong?
Regularly, since the freeway makes it an easier run than most regional work. What shifts is the finish, because the drive home after a late night lands somewhere in the quote. Where two performers are level on everything else, the one already living down this end tends to be the easier booking to run.
Can one singer cover the ceremony and the reception?
Most will and it is usually cheaper than booking two acts, though ask how they handle the gap in the middle. Some charge for the full block on site and some price the two parts separately with a wait between them. Get that in writing, because the hours sitting around are real time for the performer.
How do I judge a singer when nobody on the page has a rating?
Nothing on this page shows a rating, so ask every performer for recent phone video taken at an actual function instead of an edited promotional reel. Listen past the first chorus, because that is where a voice either settles or starts working too hard. Then check the person in the clip is the person rostered for your date.
Booking tips
Say whether the singer is local or driving down
A performer already working the Bellarine is home twenty minutes after they finish, while somebody crossing the Westgate at midnight is adding an hour to their night. Both are legitimate positions, and the difference accounts for most of what separates two otherwise similar figures.
Wind on this coast is a vocal problem first
A microphone at a Barwon Heads or Torquay ceremony picks up the wind as low rumble and the singer pushes harder to get over it. Ask what they bring for it and where they would rather stand than the spot that photographed well.
Ask what happens with no power
Plenty of the ceremony spots around here have no outlet anywhere near them. Establish who owns a battery speaker, and how many hours it lasts, before you commit anybody to a paddock or a clifftop.
