About
Rachel! Fire Dancer•Performer•Orator is a fire performer for hire in Newcastle, NSW.
Newcastle based, and the list of what Rachel does is long: fire, LED, stilts, human statue, mermaid and costumed character work, circus workshops, spoken word. Fire is the headline. That needs a level surface for access, a performance area suited to flame, and a five metre buffer between the fire and everyone watching, with an hour either side for bump in and bump out. Book Rachel for a wedding, a corporate night or a kids' party and the act gets shaped around the occasion rather than pulled off a shelf.
On the day
Fire work needs room and time. Allow an hour before the show to bump in and another hour afterwards to bump out. Access in and out has to be over flat, level ground close to where Rachel is performing. The performance area itself must suit open flame, with five metres of clear space between the fire and anyone watching, event staff included.
