About
Alektra Entertainment is a fire performer for hire in Byron Bay, NSW.
Fire is the headline act here, but LED performance and themed characters share the bill. Alektra brings high-energy fire twirling to weddings, festivals, functions and parties around Byron Bay, tailoring each performance to the feel of the event and taking special requests. She can also pull together a troupe for bigger moments, with group choreographed pieces or freestyle sets. Safety gets treated seriously: the venue and performance area are assessed on arrival, and she's fully insured for fire performance with public liability and professional indemnity cover, plus first aid and advanced oxygen certification. Outdoor spaces need good ventilation and clearance from overhanging objects, and the show adapts to conditions on the night.
The show
Tell her what you're after and she'll build the performance around it. There's an act or a character to suit most atmospheres, and special requests are welcome rather than tolerated. If you need something bigger than a solo spot, a troupe can be put together, working either from group choreography or freestyle. Just ask, and be specific about what you want the moment to feel like.
On the day
Fire needs room and air. The performance area has to be well ventilated, clear of anything overhanging and free of obstructions at the sides so there's space for full movement. Fire arts carry real risk, and the precautions here are what keep the public liability cover valid. The venue, the performance area and the surrounding hazards all get assessed on arrival. Indoor bookings at commercial venues need the appropriate licence and an emergency plan in place.
Performance options
Beyond performing, she teaches staff. Private lessons run in 90-minute blocks, and group workshops of the same length take a minimum of six people.
