About
Lucid Flow Arts is a fire performer for hire in Byron Bay, NSW.
Fire, LED and contact dance, performed as a duo or solo. Lucid Flow Arts have ten years of flow behind them, performing and teaching both, and a deep prop collection to draw on. They'll build something around your theme or bring their own, and they're as comfortable in a small space as on a festival stage. Day or night, indoors or out. A show starts at 30 minutes and can run longer depending on the event, and they also run fire training and skill shares for people who want to learn. Safety practice is drilled and consistent, which matters more than anything else when there's fire involved.
The show
Two performers who work as a genuine duo rather than two solo acts sharing a space, with ten years of flow arts behind them. They're open about themes: bring an idea and they'll build to it, or leave it to them and they'll arrive with their own style. And the safety side is drilled rather than improvised, which is the thing to care about most when fire is involved.
Performance options
Fire performance as a duo or solo. Contact dance, with fire or without it. LED work for spaces where flame isn't an option, or for a look that suits the room better. Lucid Flow Arts perform indoors and out, day or night, so a lunchtime festival slot and a midnight beach set are both on the table. Shows start at a single 30 minute performance and can run longer depending on what the event needs. They also run fire training and skill shares if you'd rather your people learned something than just watched.
