About
Junkyard Beats is a drumming group for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Junkyard Beats makes rhythm from discarded objects and the human body. Its performances combine percussion, movement, acting and audience involvement, with some show formats also incorporating fire drumming. The Kids Beats production follows three characters working in a junkyard who discover musical possibilities in the materials around them. Comedy and recycling run through that family show, using everyday objects to connect sound, movement and imagination.
