About
Batucada Elite is a drumming group for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Brazilian batucada is the starting point for Batucada Elite's percussion performances. The Sydney troupe combines those rhythms with Latin American and African influences, incorporating capoeira movement into the act. Its players perform collectively, using layered percussion to drive the show. Event credits include State of Origin in 2007, Big Day Out and Good Vibrations, bringing the group's drum-based performances to both music festival and major sporting-event audiences.
