About
Sunset Hooligans is a cover band for hire in Perth, WA.
A three piece pub rock band out of Perth, playing classic bangers from the nineties onward and starting the dance songs at track one rather than saving them. Greenday, Foo Fighters, Powderfinger, The Living End, Nirvana, Wolfmother, The Killers. Sunset Hooligans have worked plenty of pubs and events across Perth and the Peel region, and they turn up with high-end gear plus lighting for the evening half of the night. One practical note: the rig hates rain and heat, so they need to be under cover, with two standard ten amp outlets.
Watch
The show
Three players, and the dance songs start from track one instead of being saved for later. Classic pub rock from the nineties through to now, played by a band that's been on plenty of stages. The equipment is genuinely good gear, which you hear rather than see, and they bring lighting so the second half of the night looks like a night rather than a lit-up function room.
On the day
Two standard ten amp power points, the ordinary household kind. The one thing that isn't negotiable: the band has to be under cover for the whole booking. Their equipment doesn't cope with rain or direct heat, so an unshaded lawn in January or an open marquee edge won't work. A verandah, a roof or a proper marquee will.
