About
Flyte is a cover band for hire in Perth, WA.
FLYTE have been starting parties around Perth since 2006, at everything from Crown Perth and Optus Stadium to the Kulin Bush Races and Ironman WA. The energetic five piece take pride in reading whoever's in front of them, and the setlist gives them room to move: Nutbush and September in one bracket, Living on a Prayer in the next, About Damn Time and Levitating after that. They arrive fully equipped with their own PA and lighting, so there's nothing extra for you to hire. Weddings, corporate nights and packed club shows all get the same treatment. And the brief they set themselves is simple: get the room dancing and keep it there.
The show
Since forming in 2006, FLYTE have played a fair chunk of Western Australia's biggest rooms and paddocks. Crown Perth, Optus Stadium, the Perth Convention Centre, Supreme Court Gardens, the NRL, Adventure World, the Kulin Bush Races, Ironman WA, plus weddings, private events and a long run of packed club shows around Perth's main live music venues. Five of them, and what they're actually good at is reading who's in front of them and adjusting. The repertoire moves, so the same band can suit a ballroom and a sticky dance floor on different nights. Charismatic, loud when it needs to be, and professional about the parts you don't see.
On the day
PA and lighting come with the band. There's nothing extra to hire and no separate supplier to chase, whatever the size of the event.
