About
Groove Night Avenue is a cover band for hire in Perth, WA.
Groove Night Avenue brings three singers together with guitar and keyboards for Perth functions. Dean Anderson, Ben Nicholls and Lara Steel perform a repertoire stretching from acoustic ballads to disco, country and rock songs. Jazz, R&B and funk add further choices for quieter or more energetic sets. The band has played corporate events and weddings around Western Australia, with recorded backing supporting the live performance and DJ music available between sets.
Watch
The show
Before anything is locked in they'll ask about your guests, who they are, how old they are and what they're likely to want to hear, plus any songs you've specifically asked for. Then they'll come back with a few options rather than one take-it-or-leave-it package. It sounds like a small thing. But the difference between a band who ask and a band who arrive with a fixed set is usually the difference in how the room feels by ten o'clock.
On the day
Sound and lighting are supplied by the band, and it's proper gear rather than a couple of powered speakers on sticks. That means nothing to hire in on your side and nobody chasing a cable at six o'clock. Just tell them the room and they'll bring what suits it.
Performance options
The packages run from a solo singer with a DJ right up to the full band with a DJ. Send through your date, your running times and the venue and they'll price it properly rather than guess.
