About
Shady Haze is a cover band for hire in Perth, WA.
Five experienced Perth musicians who got together to play the dance floor songs of the 80s, 90s and 2000s, with a bit of late 70s in there too. Shady Haze know how to get a party going and they've done enough corporate nights and functions to read when a room is ready. They bring the whole front of house, sound and lighting included, so nothing needs hiring in. Just give them a couple of hours before doors for set-up and sound check. Straightforward brief: everyone knows the songs, everyone ends up dancing.

The show
These are players with a lot of parties behind them, and getting one going with a bang is how they describe the job. Experience is the thing they lean on. Corporate nights sit on the list alongside private parties and functions of most kinds, and the approach does not really change between them.
On the day
Front of house comes from the band, sound and lighting both. The trade off is time: allow them a couple of hours on site ahead of the gig to get it all up and sound checked before anyone walks in.
