About
Nelly & The Rich Keys is a cover band for hire in Perth, WA.
Four players out of Perth, and the mix is blues, jazz, rock and pop rather than one lane. The singer is female and carries the soul end of it, the bass lines pump, and the drumming does the work you actually notice. Their keys player came through WAAPA. The set list runs Amy Winehouse, Tina Turner, Fleetwood Mac, Prince, Paul Kelly, Van Morrison, Tracy Chapman and Johnny Cash, with a few originals of their own worked in alongside the covers. Weddings, parties, pubs. They're straightforward about what they want out of a night, which is a room that's moving by the end of it.

The show
Four players, and the sound moves between blues, jazz, rock and pop instead of parking in one of them. It's a Perth outfit, and the sort of act that suits a function where the crowd wants something to tap along to early and something to get up for later. Pubs, parties and weddings are all normal work for them. If your night needs a band that can read what the room is in the mood for, they're built for it.
