Mercury is a cover band for hire in North Perth, WA.
MERCURY is a four piece out of North Perth: John on vocals, Arthur on drums, George on lead and vocals, Florri on bass and vocals. The set list is a proper night out. Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Never Tear Us Apart, Black Magic Woman, Nutbush, Brown Eyed Girl, Sweet Caroline, Honky Tonk Women, Johnny B Goode, Suspicious Minds, Sweet Home Alabama, Roadhouse Blues. Requests get taken and the atmosphere stays a party. They also carry slower songs and instrumentals for weddings. Own PA and some lighting provided.
The show
A fun night, and MERCURY don't pretend to be doing anything more complicated than that. The party atmosphere is the goal from the first song. Requests get taken as the night goes, so if somebody at the back has been waiting all evening for one particular song, there's a decent chance they'll get it.
On the day
Their own PA comes with them, along with some lighting. So a venue without a house system isn't a problem.
Performance options
Weddings and New Year's Eve are the two bookings MERCURY handle most, and they're quoted separately because the nights are different animals. A wedding gets the slower material and the instrumentals alongside the party songs, which matters when there's a ceremony or a first dance in the run sheet. New Year's is the four piece doing what they do at full noise. Either way requests are taken on the night.
