Little Racket is a cover band for hire in Perth, WA.
Five pieces, three sets, and a rock catalogue that runs from the seventies to now with their own spin on most of it. Little Racket work Perth rooms with Dragon's "April Sun in Cuba", INXS, the Divinyls, the Screaming Jets, Crowded House, the Killers, Kings of Leon and a pile of Red Hot Chili Peppers. It's a singalong band as much as a dancing one, and the chemistry between them does a lot of the work. They can drop to a four piece if the stage is tight. Either way an audio engineer comes with them, so leave a bit of room at the back for the desk.

The show
Feet on the floor, not backsides on chairs. Little Racket play with enough energy that the room ends up standing, and the songs are chosen so people can sing along rather than just watch. The chemistry between the five of them is a big part of why it works. It's a good time band, and they don't pretend to be anything more complicated than that.
On the day
A stage big enough for four or five players is the main thing. It doesn't need to be large, just enough room for them to work. The bit people forget is the audio engineer, who travels with the band and sets up at the back of the room, so leave a spot clear there for the desk. Worth checking that when you're planning the layout, not on the night.
Performance options
The standard shape is a four piece band with an audio engineer, playing three sets of 45 minutes. Step up to five pieces and the engineer still comes along, which is why the sound holds together in rooms that would defeat a self-mixed band. Both options cover the same rock catalogue. Pick the four piece when the stage is tight and the five when there is room to spread out.
