About
Justin Davies & The Bush Bashers is a cover band for hire in Fremantle, WA.
Part blues, part country, and all attitude. Justin Davies & The Bush Bashers are a three piece out of Fremantle who take the songs seriously and themselves not at all. Think a jukebox with a sense of humour: Folsom Prison Blues, Tennessee Whiskey, Nutbush City Limits, Honky Tonk Women, Route 66, Wagon Wheel, plus originals like Cloudy Thinking and Queen of Diamonds mixed in among the classics. Toe tapping, beer clinking, dance floor filling. If you want a band that broods, look elsewhere. PA, mixing desk and a stage light come with them, and they're insured. Provide power and somewhere undercover to play.
Watch
The show
A trio out of Fremantle who take the songs seriously and leave the seriousness there. Expect toe tapping, beer clinking and a dance floor that fills, with a set that runs part country, part rock and heavy on attitude. Route 66 turns up, so does The Wanderer, and Nutbush City Limits gets the room moving. Tennessee Whiskey slows it back down. Honky Tonk Women and Folsom Prison Blues share the night with two of their own, Queen of Diamonds and Cloudy Thinking. Bad jokes are part of the deal. If you want a band that broods over its material, this is the wrong booking.
On the day
The band travels with a PA, a mixing desk and a stage light, plus the instruments for both halves of what they play. From your end it's power and a place to set up that's undercover.
