About
Diplomat is a cover band for hire in Perth, WA.
Diplomat is a rock-and-roll trio from Perth's northern suburbs. The band performs around Western Australia, playing covers and original material. Its repertoire includes songs such as All Right Now, Jailbreak and Crossroads. The musicians can provide their own sound and lighting or use a venue's production equipment.
The show
Loud. Diplomat want you feeling the music in your chest, not just hearing it, and the aim is a room that leaves buzzing rather than politely nodding. Rock and roll played the way it was written to be played. If you're after tasteful background music, this isn't the booking.
On the day
Diplomat own a full production: lights, PA, microphones, plus their own drums, bass and guitar gear. So a room with nothing in it presents no problem. Where a venue has house equipment, they're glad to use that instead.
