About
Alcatraz is a cover band for hire in Perth, WA.
Alcatraz cover a lot of ground in one night. Jazz standards early, dinner and dance material through the meal, then funk, soul, R&B and Top 40 once the floor opens up. From Ella Fitzgerald to Stevie Wonder is roughly the span. The band use current gear to get a full live sound out of a compact setup, which helps in rooms where stage space is tight. Formats run from a duo through a trio to four and five pieces, so the size can be matched to the event. Perth based, and available for weddings, corporate events, private parties and venue bookings.
